ACFoam® CrossVent is a thermally efficient above-deck cross-ventilated nailable roof insulation. It is composed of ACFoam-II or ACFoam-III polyiso insulation, Integrity EPS vent spacers providing airspace in 1", 1.5", or 2" sizes, and a nailable surface of APA/TECO-rated OSB or CDX plywood. ACFoam CrossVent offers various composite configurations and delivers long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) values. See tables below for thermal values, net-free area (NFA) values and configuration options.
Approved for use as a non-structural panel in new and re-roofing applications. ACFoam CrossVent is approved for installation over wood and steel roof decks with a minimum 3/12 pitch. Please see installation guide for approved decks and fastening requirements.
Deck slope must be appropriate for the type of roof system specified. Typical roof systems include asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, tile and slate. ACFoam CrossVent is not designed or approved for vertical applications. Approved for use only when mechanically attached to an approved deck as per Atlas fastening requirements. To minimize the effect of thermal bridging, and the impact of moisture/airflow into the roof system, Atlas strongly recommends the ACFoam CrossVent assembly be installed in multiple layers using a base layer(s) of ACFoam roof insulation below the ACFoam CrossVent composite panel. The architect, engineer or design professional is responsible for determining the need for and location of vapor/air retarder.
Also available in Non-Halogenated formulation.
